Alison thought they team made a respectable showing with her piece. It wasn't a contender, but she was happy with how it turned out. So much of the work has been amazing. The snow portion of the competition was held on Sun Island, and she was hoping to get back to the site of the ice carving to get some pictures of Tatyana's final product.
They've been enjoying the food. Chinese, of course; they have a buffet breakfast, and lunch and dinner consist of many types of food on lazy susans which are passed around. Last night they went to a restaurant and had hot pots. These hold heated oil into which they cooked pieces of raw fish, beef, etc. The oil then formed a tasty broth.
